no more happy hours

That's it. No more happy hours on 'school nights' for me! Last week I went to HH Monday and Wednesday. Thursday I paid for it. I don't recall the brand name of the Tequila, but it was YUMMY! No lemon/lime or salt needed. Smooth shit. I'll have to ask Foxy what it's called. My good buddy 'goose' was there as well. Enough said.

What a nice weekend! (alcohol free I might add)

Saturday I walked up to the neighbors for a First Communion party for one of their daughters. Nice party, tons of food, tons of people. Then off to shopping. I hit BJ's......then the mall. Ahhh the mall. I love malls. I love shopping!

Today I actually got my lazy arse out of bed around 8:30 and left home by 10. I packed the blades in the car and went roller blading for a while. It was beautiful out!

Tonight.......Desperate Housewives and Sopranos. Soprano's will be DVR'd so we can watch that tomorrow........housewives will be watched on the big screen in HD!

Tomorrow.......back to work. It's gonna suck. No Luis, no Rox all week........ugh! Anyone need any lunch dates? I'm free all week! Oh- then there's cinco de mayo.........woo who! We're scrinking (that means scrapping & drinking) at the Bundro's Friday night. Should be fun!

Do Ya Think I'm Sexy??

Well.........after 3 VERY strong drinks at happy hour, (pardon any typo-s because i'm too lazy and dizzy to hit backspace and fix them).........i start watching Idol, with Rod Stewart. I got ALL insanely happy when he was being introduced and Do Ya Think I'm Sexy was playing! I thought "cool, he's going to sing one of the songs that made him famous".......but NO..........that was only for the intro......he has to go and sing a freaking 60's song. A beatiful song, but we all know when I'm lit up I love my DISCO! Maybe I'll break out my Rod Stewart greatest hits CD and jam after the show.........I'm sure the hub will LOVE that! (yep- i'm doin it!)

I love when I run into someone I know and they are BARTENDING! That just makes happy hour SO much happier! Me, Rox, Luis, Kev and Steve went to Theo's after work and I ran into the guy I run into EVERYWHERE........Jamie from High School. Great guy, great bartender! He must like the goose too because my drinkss were more on the clear side than even on the pink side! Awesome! I think we'll go back there again next week!

My buddy Luis's last day of work is next week.........oh I'm going to miss him. So.......until then, we'll be out partying during the week. He'll still be local, but not in the same building as we are. What does this mean for me? No reliable lunch dates. No one to hit the bar on theback of my chair 10 times a day so my chair goes crashing to the ground while i'm sitting in it......no one to throw their candy wrappers all over my workspace...........no fun! Luis I am definitely going to miss you.......you have been a great friend to me! (answer your phone you butthead!)

I better pay atention to idol now........

Shopping + Food = Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!

What a beautiful weekend! I took the day off on Friday and shopped at the out lets in Gettysburg. Then I went into town, walked around a little, stopped at a coffee shop, putzed around a little more then headed home.

Then I did it. I finally had ice cream at Brewster's! Oh boy is that stuff fantastic! Lisa and I were headed to the movies but had to make a pit stop for ice cream. I had butterscotch swirl.........nothing but butterscotch topping swirled in vanilla ice cream. Oh was is GREAT! Lisa had a small sundae which was also excellent! Yum!
Then we hit the movies and I devoured a small popcorn...........oink oink.

I shopped again on Saturday.........Victoria, Barbara, all my friends made out from me today!

Then to Carolyns for a feast. When I arrived, the sons and cousin were mowing, weed-wacking, raking.......it looked like Brickmans was there except they weren't Mexicans! People everywhere doing yard work. After showers, we ate and ate and ate. Ham, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, snap peas, salad, rolls and chocolate kahlua cake. OINK OINK . It was fabulous as usual. She is by far the BEST cook ever. Very creative too. Excellent! Thank you Carolyn!

I hope the Easter Bunny drops chocolate to all my friends!

Springing Forward

This time change thing has messed up my system big time. I swear it didn't have anything to do with me being out almost all night on Saturday night, it's the time change!

The weekend was great. I helped a friend move on Saturday morning (strike 1-getting up at 8 on a Saturday) for a few hours, came home and crawled into bed for an hour and a half, showered and out the door to a party I went. What a great time. Plenty of food, drinks, laughs, ping-pong and only 1 or 2 April Fool's jokes(Once I get around to downloading the pics you'll see what happened to someone's 'baby'.) , and.....last but not least......a few of us got to see the 'full moon' (thanks Grover). I took my 'stuff' to sleep over in the event that I was too intoxicated to drive home, but that didn't happen. I behaved myself! I know, everyone's amazed, but it's true! Only 3 shots and 2 Margaritas the entire night. No problem. Plus all that chasing of the ping-pong ball being spun at me by the Royal Brit.......I got plenty of exercise. The host of the party looked like he just got out of the shower by the time the crazy Brit was done with him!

So I finally fell asleep around 4:30 - post time change. Up at 9 (strike 2-getting up at 9 on a Sunday after falling asleep at 4:30) to meet the PC Doctor so he could do some work on Scott & Wendy's PC. To my delight he arrived on his motorcycle.......with an extra lid so I could go for a ride. Much to my dismay..........he arrived at 10am! (um.......the 8 o'clock meetings start at 8, not 8:10!) I was quite surprised!

After the PC Doc left I put the jammies back on and flopped onto the couch, watched the beginning of a movie and poof........I was out by 2:15 and didn't wake until I heard the garage door going up around 4;15. I then decided I had to eat.......my stomach was not happy that she'd been empty all day. So I made some eggs, flopped back on the couch, ate and promptly fell back asleep until 7pm. (Approx. 4 hours of nap time for me!) It took all my energy to stay up to watch the Soprano's, but I made it. Good show.

Back to bed at 10, asleep at 10:30.
